    Very bad experience

By Gary E on 12 April 2019 | Purchase not verified

Turned up to purchase an 'excellent condition a3' the dealers words. Turned up to be told the dealer was an hour drive away. Managed to find the A3 in a car park next to a block of flats. Not a dealerships forecourt. The A3 has damaged that's been badly repaired on the nsf bumper and wing. Lacquer peel on bumper and both wings, all alloys are heavily corid, broken mirror with inbuilt broken indicator and the bonnet has several rust bubbles. Owner insisted this was age related stone chips. Absolute rubbish. The A3 has clearly had a bad repair and the lacquer has not adeared properly. The damage to the bonnet, granted would be stone chips. However I travelled over two hours with a cost £130 to buy the car and was never told before hand that there was any damage. The owner stuck to and still does that its ages related marks and not damage. His advert clearly states in excellent condition and over email and texts message constantly insisted the A3 is in amazing condition. Avoid!

Firstly I’d like to mention that the car which is being mentioned is an Audi A3 which has covered 200,000 miles! I still 100% stand that the car has nothing out of the ordinary for a car with that much mileage. You was fully aware of the mileage it had and anyone would know that with that sort of mileage would come some scratches, marks and stone chips. We try to advertise everything as clearly as possible and include as many images as possible to clearly show the car wether that be good or bad. Anyone is welcome to ask for more details about any of the cars we sell, as well as ask for more pictures as we’d be more then happy to do that so the costumer has a better idea of what they are viewing. Viewing the car is always essential because not everyone who views the car will buy it as everyone has individual views in regards to the condition. Just to clarify, not once over email or text did we say to you that it’s in amazing condition and we have proof of all the messages exchanged.
